The facade of the commercial center is its face that attracts visitors. We offer an innovative, fashionable and self-sustaining facade - architectural photovoltaic modules with a self-cleaning feature (do not require any cleaning for the entire building lifetime). We have developed a multi-layer structure that gives the module a mirror effect. One of the layers is the outer one, it is a specialized layer based on TiO₂ (titanium dioxide). This layer makes the glass self-cleaning and multiplies the strength of the glass. Titanium dioxide is a semiconductor and becomes reactive only after exposure to ultraviolet light. DioxideTitanium as a photocatalyst enables to decompose such materials as dirt, soot, chemicals and irritants, toxic drugs, the smell of cigarette smoke, bacteria or organic materials.
